2024: Return from hiatusThe year of 2023 was year full of ups and downs for Old School Football LLC. Coach McElvany celebrated the birth of his beautiful daughter in October, and himself and Coach Eagle celebrated their SMCC Falcons returning to the Division 7 playoffs in Michigan, before bowing out in the District Championship to a talented Clinton team. Old School Football did not participate in any installation camps and very few personal clinics due to a severe back injury that Coach McElvany suffered in the spring of 2023. Coach Eagle also had some personal family matters to attend to during the spring and summer of 2023 so Old School Football LLC. felt it was in the best interest of everyone to go on hiatus for a year.
Now, fast forward to January of 2024. Coach McElvany is still recovering from that injury but is looking to resume more of his regular schedule and so is Coach Eagle. Old School Football has begun resuming private in-person clincs already, and will continue to do so through the summer. There will also be at least one in-person installation camp, maybe more depending on scheduling. We thank you for your support over the last 2 years and hope we can continue to grow, and most importantly support other coaches more than ever as we prepare for the 2024 season.
